Aon is seeking a Broker for National Casualty Practice   U.S. Commercial Risk Solutions represents the retail brokerage and risk management arm of Aon. Through more than 50 offices in major commercial centers in the U.S., our professionals design, place, and implement customized insurance and risk mitigation solutions for clients. Commercial Risk Solutions works with all of Aon's business units to bring the right set of expertise and solutions that meet each client's unique risk management needs. This position will be located within or near our Philadelphia office. Your impact as a BrokerDuties and responsibilities include:Perform the services of an Insurance Broker for Casualty lines of Coverage: General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Commercial Automobile.Placement of new and renewal loss sensitive insurance programs.Collateral reviews, collateral negotiation, loss pick analysis, work closely with Aon Actuarial team and Aon Global Risk Consultants (AGRC)Analyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum TCOR (Total Cost of Risk) and program creation & development including pricing, terms & conditions.Work closely with the Casualty Brokerage Leader, Account Executive Practice Leader and Resident Sales Director in new business production.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the carriers and underwriters.Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team.Work as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon team. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:7-10 years of commercial brokerage or underwriting experience preferredProperty Casualty Agent-Broker LicenseComputer knowledge: Adept with Microsoft office suite:  Excel, WordARM, CPCU and/or other designations a plus  Preferred Experience:Proven collaboration skillsStrong oral presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex written messagesStrong negotiation skillsStrong work ethicAnalytical skillsAbility to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlinesCommitted to delivering the highest level of customer service and qualityAbility to work independently or within a team-based environmentEducation:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience. We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
