Job details Description \SUMMARY Underwrites mortgage loan applications and evaluates loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss. Monitors properly appraisal process. Provide quality, accurate and timely customer service internal and external. #CB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \u2022 Reviews submitted conventional loans for approval. \u2022 Communicate with processor\/originator on decision \u2022 Monitor status of loans in pipeline on regular basis; communicate with originators, borrowers, real estate agents and appraisers. \u2022 Maintain loan submission register; confirm lock-in sheets with secondary market; order flood certificates and process cancelled loan files and refund checks. \u2022 Comply with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines. \u2022 Prepare and submits closing instructions to attorneys \u2022 Performs all other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and\/or abilities required in this position High school diploma or GED and 2-5 years of experience as a Processor or Underwriter required, preferred in VA\/FHA\/government loans COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS 1. Microsoft Office suite 2.
