The Financial Analyst I will assist the Commercial Relationship Managers in the development and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions for the bank. They will maintain and promote a customer service environment to satisfy and exceed customer needs and expectations. The Financial Analyst I is accountable to maintain and support the lending process.
Ensure accuracy of financial analysis
Ensure adherence to lending directives
Assist in negotiations of terms and conditions of loan agreements
Assist in preparation of loan proposals and commitments
Develop credit information for use by commercial relationship managers in making lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans
Prepare and analyze spreadsheets, financial information, financial statements and related material
Produce a variety of reports used to assess credit information such as risk rating reports and loan transaction summaries (LTS).
Prepare summary, present facts and offer opinions concerning credit worthiness.
Knowledge and Skills:
Formalized credit training required with at least two years of underwriting experience on companies in excess of $20 million in revenues
One to four years of relevant corporate finance, commercial lending, accounting or due diligence experience, preferably in a bank, finance company or accounting firm environment
An undergraduate degree is required
Solid financial analysis, research and business due diligence skills
Experience with analyzing and managing cash flow loans
Self motivated with a history of meeting and exceeding goals
Strong analytical and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
