Aon is looking for a Broker – Environmental GroupAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the Environmental Services Group (ESG) in our New York Office.Your impact as a BrokerDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship managers and originatorsIdentify new internal and external environmental opportunities to facilitate growthIdentify and analyze client environmental liability exposuresFacilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with client, relationship managers, originators and service center supportFinalize market submission, present risks to potential markets, and negotiate coverage terms to achieve successful insurance placementsSummarize and present coverage options, terms, and recommendations in clear and concise presentationsProvide critical review and feedback regarding policy language and coverage termsWork with the Director of Environmental Claims to support claims advocacy work for our clientsBuild and maintain detailed knowledge of environmental liability insurance marketplace, products and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and claims staffProvide continuous support and service to clients during entire marketing process and entire period of engagement by client (this is a continuous process)Drive utilization of all available technology throughout marketing process and service processUnderstand the causes of E&O and avoid and embrace practices to reduce exposureAdhere to all standard methodologiesReplicate effective products/solutions across syndicationRetain and grow assigned clients/prospectsAdhere to the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all activitiesEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental insurance/risk management/claims handling or advocacyEnvironmental insurance claims, brokerage, or underwriting experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
