One of our clients, a WNY insurance organization, has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriting Assistant to work out of their suburban Buffalo, NY office. This full-time position will be responsible for assisting the department with underwriting activities including: Reviewing and approving policy requests according to guidelines Reviewing and approving policy cancellation requests Reviewing information for policy renewals Preparing policy quotations and other documents as directed Performing any research required for the underwriting decision process Applicants should be organized, have strong analytical skills and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
