Underwriter Trainee Jobs
A underwriter trainee job involves documentation and analysis of new business, renewals and endorsements, including working with agents to develop all the necessary information. A underwriter trainees also acquire new business by reviewing the application for acceptability, requesting additional information, if necessary, and accepting or rejecting risks in conformance with company guidelines. A underwriter trainee operates to assist in the functions of the department: observe, question and develop an understanding of the operations within the department as well as the company in order to acquire an understanding of the principles of underwriting.
A underwriter trainee requires bachelor\'s degree and related experience. They should have ability to develop and manage a project plan to successful completion. A underwriter trainee must have ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with others on an external and internal basis. The underwriter trainee should demonstrated initiative as evidenced by ability to self-manage, organize, and prioritize work, with minimal direction.
